Algerie Telecom revamps Idoom range with more data, unlimited call allowance

Algerie Telecom has refreshed its Idoom LTE top-up options for residential mobile broadband customers. The main changes apply to the top-up range with 1-month validity, which now offers unlimited calls to fixed/VoLTE numbers, in addition to a more generous data allowance. Pricing for the four top-up options remains unchanged at DZD 1,000, DZD 2,500, DZD 3,500 and DZD 6,500, with increased data allowances of 20, 50, 70, and 140 GB respectively.

Customers purchasing the two higher-tier top-up options can still continue to access the service if they consume their data allowance before the 1-month expiry, at a reduced speed of up to 2 Mbps and 4 Mbps (DZD 3,500 and DZD 6,500 top-up respectively). For the two lower-tier options, access after expiry is allowed on YouTube, Wikipedia and popular social networks (Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, Instagram and Linkedin).

The DZD 3,500 top-up also includes DZD 2,000 worth of calls to all other national networks, rising to a DZD 3,000 call credit for customers choosing the top-tier option.

The operator has also added to its Idoom range a data-only DZD 500 price point. Customers are offered 5 GB of data valid for 10 days, with access to social networks still allowed at a reduced speed if the allowance is used before the 10-day expiry.
