Mobile operator Beeline Uzbekistan has expanded the coverage and raised the capacity of its 3G network in the Tashkent and Bukhara regions. New 3G base stations have been built in the Akkurgan, Bostanlyk, Katta-Chirchik and Yangiyul municipalities in the Tashkent region. The capacity of the 3G network has been raised in the South-Western part of the country.
Work on the upgrade of the 3G network have also been carried out in the Bukhara, Kagan and Karakul municipalities in the Bukhara region.
In 2017, Beeline Uzbekistan deployed more than 1,200 base stations. More than 900 base stations are scheduled to launch this year.
