Orange Egypt has launched its new campaign to support the World Cup qualifier. Egypt has not qualified to the World cup since 1990, its all Egyptians' dream to make it to the World Cup this time. The campaign idea is using hard core football fans who are getting older as the years are passing by without seeing Egypt making it to the World Cup so it's either now or never.
The company said the creative execution is a "cool humorous rap song sang by old football fans who are really getting old and are suffering from aging problems as well as stress and pressure from wasting chances to qualify to the World Cup for the last twenty-eight years." The campaign is also supported by a commercial proposition through launching the "Egyptians' Dream bucket" where customers are requested to dial #2018# and get 90 units to be used as minutes/megabytes plus the chance to attend the upcoming matches.
