Vumatel will soon launch 200Mbps fibre-to-the-home services on its network, Cool Ideas cofounder Andre Jooste told MyBroadband.
The new high-speed FTTH service will be available everywhere on the Vumatel network, and will have the option of 20Mbps or 200Mbps upload speeds.
The new speed options are expected to become available from 1 August 2017.
Cool Ideas said it will offer the following uncapped packages (down/up):
•200Mbps/20Mbps – R1,399 per month
•200Mbps/200Mbps – R1,499 per month
All of its packages are unshaped, with no monthly contracts, and include a free entry-level router, said Jooste.
Vumatel currently offers 4Mbps, 20Mbps, 50Mbps, 100Mbps, and 1Gbps fibre-to-the-home products – with 200Mbps services bridging the gap at the high-end.
