French over-the-top video platform Molotov will become a distributor of Orange's premium content service OCS with a new package priced at EUR 11.99 per month, reports Les Echos. OCS renewed its partnership with US pay-TV network HBO in March, securing the rights to popular series such as 'Game of Thrones'.
This agreement with Orange is the second premium content deal for the OTT provider, which announced that it had reached 1 million users in April, following its official launch in July 2016. The company is eager to strengthen its offering further with sports content, and is planning a new marketing campaign in the second half of the year to recruit pay-TV subscribers.
