As part of the National Tree Week, stc Bahrain, a digital enabler, announced its collaboration with Diyar Al Muharraq, the largest real estate development company in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of its ongoing initiative, “Trees for Life.” Through this partnership, stc Bahrain will plant trees across various areas within the project, supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to expand green spaces and achieve the national afforestation goals, which aims to double the number of trees by 2035.
This initiative reaffirms stc Bahrain and Diyar Al Muharraq’s commitment to their environmental and social responsibilities and their continued efforts to implement sustainable projects that protect the environment and improve quality of life, in line with the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030.
On this occasion, Eng. Ahmed Ali Al Ammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, commented: “We are pleased to partner with stc Bahrain, in an initiative that reflects our shared vision of environmental preservation and sustainable growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The planting of trees across Diyar Al Muharraq marks an important step toward a greener, more vibrant future, and we are proud to contribute to these collective efforts that combine environmental awareness with social responsibility.”

This collaboration builds upon stc Bahrain’s ongoing efforts under the “Trees for Life” initiative, which was launched in 2021 in partnership with the Supreme Council for Environment and the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, aiming to support national afforestation efforts and combat climate change for a more sustainable future for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
