This pioneering initiative represents Saudi Arabia's first long-distance 5G-A mmWave trial, marking the beginning of a new era in high-capacity last-mile access communication.
GO Telecom achieved remarkable results using a single user equipment powered by ZTE's latest mmWave network infrastructure equipment. The 6 km coverage range with 200 MHz bandwidth enabled connected devices to maintain nearly 1 Gbps downlink speeds in field testing, laying a solid foundation for Vision 2030. 5G-A mmWave can provide ultra-high-speed, low-latency, and high-capacity connectivity tailored for industries with demanding communication needs.
