Malaysian operator Maxis revealed that it has signed an MoU with Dell Technologies to design cybersecurity and 5G-powered endpoint solutions for enterprises.
Under the MoU, Maxis and Dell will collaborate on offerings that they promise will better safeguard businesses from cyber threats and ensure robust business recovery mechanisms.
Part of this approach includes devising endpoint solutions that capitalise on 5G connectivity to enhance and safeguard workplace productivity, Maxis said.
Maxis CEO Goh Seow Eng said that the companies will leverage Maxis’ knowledge of the local telecommunications landscape and Dell’s digital solutions expertise to enhance business agility and efficiency for companies of all sizes across various verticals.
"We anticipate the development of impactful digital services and solutions that can accelerate our customer’s digital transformation and ensure a resilient and sustainable future for our industries,” Goh said in a statement.
Maxis’ chief enterprise business officer Prateek Pashine emphasised that the collaboration goes beyond threat prevention to also focus on business resilience.
“By combining our expertise, we can address pressing challenges and guide enterprises to navigate the complexities of the digital landscape with confidence,” he said.
The MoU was signed during last week’s Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona.
