Costa Rica, CrowdStrike ink cybersecurity MoU

The Ministry of Technology and Telecommunications (MICITT) and CrowdStrike, a U.S. tech company, have reached an agreement to boost Costa Rica's cybersecurity.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Technology Paula Bogantes Zamora and CrowdStrike's Regional Vice President Fernando Quintero.

According to the authorities, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding, CrowdStrike would strengthen the country's cybersecurity and ensure the safety of personal data and intellectual property.

The agreement allows CrowStrike to develop summits and seminars to help public sector workers enhance their cybersecurity capabilities.

"Our goal is to provide relevant industry insights to help Costa Rica strengthen its cybersecurity," stated Fernando Quintero, CrowdStrike's Regional Vice President.
