Zain invites customers to update their Civil ID and personal information on its database as soon as possible to continue enjoying uninterrupted services, following directives and regulations from the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA).
This step helps protect customer privacy, limit fraud attempts, and ensure the validity of customer data in Zain’s database, enabling the company to offer them the best services. To avoid service interruption, customers should complete this process by 03 March 2024.
Customers can easily update their information via Zain’s digital channels, including the official website (kw.zain.com) and the Zain KW app available from official app stores. In addition, customers can complete this process by visiting any of Zain’s nationwide branches or by calling the contact center at 107.
Zain asks customers to be vigilant and not click any unidentified links or visit any unknown URLs that claim to be official sites. Customers should also be careful not to engage in suspicious phone calls, nor engage with any unsecure external links. Zain will never ask customers to submit any information or documents through any channels other than the official ones mentioned above.
To update via the Zain KW app or website (kw.zain.com), customers can simply tap on their profile page, choose “update Civil ID”, then enter the Civil ID number in the designated area. Afterwards, the customer will be prompted to continue the authentication process via the Kuwait Mobile ID app. After authenticating, the update process will be successfully completed. Customers can also visit any of Zain’s nationwide branches or call 107 to complete the update process with the help of the customer care team.
Zain ensures the compliance of its systems with all regulatory requirements and standards to protect customer data. The company continues to introduce strict security procedures and implement core-level changes to its systems to assure the highest levels of security when customers complete transactions or payments on its channels, including the official website, smartphone app, and the biggest network of branches in Kuwait.
