Czech broadcaster Prima has expanded its HbbTV offer with a new Prima Lifestyle application.
Under the red button, viewers can now watch a selection of videos from Prima’s lifestyle websites.
“We’re expanding the portfolio of services that we have been providing viewers through HbbTV,” says Katerina Srbová, HbbTV manager, Prima group.
The app uses the same elements as Prima+, is based on the same graphics, allowing viewers to experience much the same look and feel. Viewers will find the new application under the Prima Lifestyle tile after pressing the red button on all Prima channels.
“We are excited to present the Prima Lifestyle application, where we will offer our TV viewers content focused on exercises, horoscopes, instructions or recipes in the form of personalized experiences. The aim is to deliver an innovative entertainment experience that is synergistically linked to the magazine portfolio of Prima Group,” says Hung Nguyen, Deputy Director of Online and Director of Online Technology.
Prima Group is one of the market leaders in HbbTV. The Red Button on Prima channels is seen by 2.28 million viewers per month, and almost 550,000 of them enter the Prima application. Targetting has been improved and its now possible to target devices meeting specified conditions, such as devices that have or have not seen the client’s TV spot.
