Malawian fixed and mobile operator Access Communications Limited (ACL) has rebranded its operations as Zero2.
According to local press, ACL has invested MWK15 billion (USD6.9 million) in its 2G and 4G network infrastructure, which covers the country’s four major cities of Mzuzu, Lilongwe, Blantyre and Zomba, as well as other towns and districts, including Thyolo, Mulanje, Mwanza, Liwonde, Balaka, Mangochi and Salima.
‘Our main target is the low-middle-income Malawians, who need affordable and high quality communications for their development,’ the firm’s the Managing Director Faizal Okhai was quoted as saying.
