EE has released details of its new TV service as it prepares to take on BT TV customers following the reorganisation of BT Group.
At the centre of the new offer is an Apple TV 4K box which will include a subscription to Sky’s NOW streaming service and the ability to opt into Netflix, TNT Sports, Apple TV+ and discovery+, amongst others. Apple TV is free for the first six months of a subscription.
Existing streaming subscriptions can be moved to EE.
A dedicated EE app is there to help customers navigate the available content.
A range of packages is available starting at £18 above the cost of a broadband subscription. Three separate packages are available wit sports at the centre, though allowing subscribers to move between channels and streamers on a monthly basis.
An EE branded remote includes touch-enabled click pad and buttons, plus voice search for easy content access.
Alternatively customers can opt for a more traditional set-top box, the EE TV Box Pro, running in 4K HDR quality, with Dolby Atmos Sound and Dolby Vision. which also includes two mini boxes as part of the subscription.
