The agreement aims to promote digital transformation in the country as well as attract foreign investment into the IT sector.

DataVolt will develop, invest and operate state-of-the-art data centres, creating the first fully renewable large data centre campus in the region. The data centres will focus on high efficiency, innovation and sustainability solutions.

Rajit Nanda, Chief Executive Officer of DataVolt mentioned: “In line with Uzbekistan’s sustainability goals, we target to build data centres with the lowest carbon emissions.
