Claro Colombia has confirmed that its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network is now available in a total of 139 towns and cities across the country. In a press release to mark the launch of fibre in Carmen de Viboral and La Ceja in Antioquia, north-west Colombia, Claro noted that 20 new locations have received fibre in the last year. Diego Marin, Claro Colombia’s Regional Director, noted that a total of 113,000 homes passed have been added to the telco’s footprint in 2023 to date.
