Contactless platform provider Fidesmo has partnered with payment services provider Wearonize to “establish a new standard for contactless payments” by offering issuers and wearable manufacturers a more efficient and cost-effective solution for integrating contactless payments into wearable devices.
The strategic and commercial partnership will enable Fidesmo “to combine our expertise in payment tokenization with Wearonize’s proficiency in technology and wearable network. Together, we aim to redefine the contactless payment landscape and provide a more scalable and efficient solution for all stakeholders,” Fidesmo CEO Mattias Eld says.
The partnership will also enable Wearonize to add support for new use cases such as ticketing and access control.
