SLA Digital, which works with many of the world’s major mobile operators to power mobile revenues through carrier billing and mobile identity, has partnered with Vietnam-headquartered Viettel Business Solutions Corporation (Viettel Solutions) – a member of Viettel Group – for carrier billing.
Viettel Group is the largest telecommunications provider in Vietnam, with operations in 11 international markets across Asia, Africa and America and over 110 million subscribers. Viettel Solutions is described as Viettel Group’s pioneer in digital transformation.
SLA Digital has recently launched with one of Viettel’s mobile operators, Movitel in Mozambique; other subsidiaries will follow soon. Movitel is one of the largest mobile operators in Mozambique with just under 4 million subscribers.
Through this partnership SLA Digital is providing merchants access to Movitel’s subscribers through direct carrier billing. SLA Digital says carrier billing continues to be a popular choice for online payment as it offers subscribers a hassle-free, secure payment method for digital purchases.
Underlining plans to expand its coverage Kevin Drayne, CEO of SLA Digital says, “We are pleased to have signed a contract with Viettel Group which allows us to connect to its mobile operators across the globe for carrier billing. Movitel is our first live connection through Viettel Group, and we are very excited to expand our presence with them in the coming months.”
