Italian fixed broadband provider Virgin Fibra has expanded the reach of its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) offer through a partnership with Fastweb.
The deal will add 7.8 million households to Virgin’s footprint, enabling it to offer broadband packages with download speeds up to 2.5Gbps.
Virgin Fibra launched services in Italy in August 2022 using the infrastructure of state-backed wholesale network operator Open Fiber.
