Netflix now accounts for over half of the time spent on viewing streaming platforms by Polish internet users.
According to research by Mediapanel published by Wirtualne Media>, the figure stood at 54.36% in June, up from 50.58% in May.
Disney was in second place with 6.97% (6.09%), followed by Player with 6.64% (6.71%) and HBO Max with 6.19% (5.73).
The research also shows that Netflix was far ahead of its competitors in terms of real users (11,097,972, compared to 9,960,084 in May), with Disney in second place (3,840,210 compared to 2,955,528 in May).
TVP VOD, Canal+ online and Viaplay all saw their shares fall in June.
SkyShowtime, which entered the Polish market earlier this year, saw its viewing share by time fall from 1.46% in May to 1.28% in June.
However, the number of real users increased significantly over the period, from 1,104,354 to 1,862,190.
