Progress has been made on the mast sites currently in the Scottish 4G Infill programme including several in Aberdeenshire.
In an update on the Scottish Government’s Scottish 4G Infill Programme (S4GI), a £28.75 million initiative delivering 4G infrastructure and services in up to 55 mobile “notspots” in rural and remote parts of Scotland, several sites have been completed.
This includes new ones at Collieston and Bogton near Turriff where services are now available from EE.
A previously proposed candidate sites at Pennan was removed from the list of sits as there was no operator interest and planning permission was refused following local opposition.
