Crony Group (Bangladesh) opts for Solvei8 to digitise factory operations

Bangladesh-based Crony Group, a leading garment manufacturer, has teamed up with Solvei8 for its digital transformation journey, as the two companies collaborate to digitise the group’s factory operations, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency to bolster the group’s competitive edge in the market.

As part of the partnership, Solvei8 will provide Crony Group with factory cloud solutions to help them digitise their factories, enabling them to leverage the power of technology to stay ahead in the ever-evolving market and deliver the best possible products and services to clients.

It’s pertinent to mention here that Crony Group, which is recognised as a distinguished vendor for some of the most renowned apparel brands in Europe and North America, has the capacity to produce over 220,000 garments daily, boasts state-of-the-art textile mills, and employs over 15,000 personnel in nine different concerns.

Commenting on the partnership, Nafian Intasar, Group Director at Crony Group, said, “We wanted to take a step towards digitisation of our factory processes and found Tracki8 to be the best-suited MES to help us make data-driven decisions. Since partnering with Solvei8 for our factory digitisation, our defect rate has noticeably decreased while our overall efficiency has improved, giving us a competitive edge in the market. We are extremely pleased with this partnership and look forward to our ongoing collaboration.”

Adib Sajjad, Solvei8’s Head of Business Development, Bangladesh, added, “We are excited to partner with Crony Group to provide them with our factory cloud solutions. Crony Group has always been known to be the front-runner in adopting newer practices. We aim to help them further this by providing real-time updates about their factory operations right on their mobile phones to not only address immediate production issues but also convert them into long-term operational benefits.”

Tracki8, an advanced MES developed by Solvei8, enables users to improve their production performance, identify areas for improvement, and achieve their business goals quickly by providing a digitalised workflow model that makes manufacturing more agile and reduces the reliance on manual reporting processes.

Anand Pareek, CEO at Solvei8’s parent company, Buyogo AG, said, “We are glad to see more manufacturers like Crony Group choose us as their digitisation partners, and it underscores our commitment to bringing the benefits of digitisation to the apparel and footwear industry and will enable our users to achieve a proactive, modern-day approach to decision-making.”
