Telia Play subscribers in Lithuania can now enjoy a slate of lifestyle, home, true crime, adventure, science and tech content on Discovery+.
The Warner Bros. Discovery streamer has been added following a new agreement with Telia Play.
Jamie Cooke, General Manager CEE, Baltics, Middle East, Mediterranean and Turkey at Warner Bros. Discovery, says: “It’s been 2 years since we’ve started the roll out discovery+ as a streaming service across the entire region and we continue building our path to a strong digital presence together with our partners.”
The new agreement also extends the carriage of Discovery Channel, Discovery Science, TLC, ID, Animal Planet, HGTV, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 within Telia’s various subscription packages.
“Telia Play is further developing its strategy creating the best experience for customers by growing Telia Play+ library, where we have films, series, animation and original content. Discovery+ exclusive content fills all currently not explored segments with its own originals – unique reality, documentary, and other genres of content that our customers were looking for,” said Vitalija Kibilde, Head of TV Business Lithuania.
New content to be added for Lithuanian subscribers in the next few weeks includes Death by Fame, The Playboy Murders, You, Me & My Ex, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Bake It ’til You Make It, Brother Vs. Brother, Fixer Upper, Wheeler Dealers: Dream Car, amongst others.
