British full fiber network infrastructure company F&W Networks has revealed that its infrastructure now passes more than 250,000 premises across the country. Looking ahead, the company has confirmed it hopes to reach a total of one million premises with fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) technology by 2025, with its rollout currently focused on several counties in England, including Buckinghamshire, Greater London, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
Alongside the announcement regarding its expansion of coverage, F&W Networks also confirmed a new ISP partnership, with Octaplus Networks. Commenting on this development, Stephen Gray, Head of Business Development at F&W Networks, said: ‘We’re excited to announce Octaplus as the latest ISP to join our open access platform, and as an established and reputable ISP, Octaplus perfectly complements our ambitions to connect communities to full fibre broadband. Alongside our goal to pass one million homes by 2025, F&W Networks is focused on establishing an attractive wholesale business as one of the early altnet adapters, and we are making great progress.’
