Expressing its deepest sympathy to the people of Turkey and Syria, whose countries were hit by devastating earthquakes, and in a show of support and empathy, Bulgarian telecom Vivacom is providing free international calls to Turkey and Syria, as well as free roaming in Turkey, the operator said Thursday.
As of today, February 9, until February 15, all private Vivacom customers of fixed and mobile services will have 1,000 minutes each for international calls to the two countries affected by the earthquake, as well as free roaming for all private subscribers of mobile subscription services of the operator in Turkey.
As part of United Group, Vivacom's move is in line with the group's efforts to provide support in all seven countries where it is present by providing free international calls to its customers in Turkey and Syria. During the same period, United Group's telecom businesses in Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia and Slovenia will also provide free roaming to their mobile subscribers in Turkey.
