Iliad Italy has expanded its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) coverage to 8.5 million households in around 350 cities and towns.
The expansion follows the implementation of the wholesale network agreement which was signed by Iliad and FiberCop in August 2021. Iliad says its fibre services, which were launched last January, will soon reach ten million homes across Italy. The operator will be offering download rates up to 5Gbps over FiberCop infrastructure thanks to FTTH EPON technology.
