Qatar’s Es’hailSat and AXESS Networks have announced a strategic partnership agreement to provide teleport and VSAT services for multiple sectors in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Es’hailSat is a communications satellite operator and service provider headquartered in Doha, Qatar, delivering services to broadcasters, enterprises and governments in the MENA region and beyond. Es’hailSat currently operates two GEO satellites and a teleport in Doha.
AXESS offers teleport and satellite communications services globally to customers in a broad range of industries. It manages the entire satellite communications value chain including VSAT networks, up and downlink services, satellite capacities, hosting, and internet via satellite services.
AXESS has entered this strategic partnership agreement with Es’hailSat in order to grow its operations in Qatar and in the Gulf and MENA region. The common goal of both partners is to expand their business, widen their customer base and upgrade service quality.
This multi-year, multi-service agreement will involve Es’hailSat catering to AXESS’s VSAT networking requirements along with offering professional services.
Describing the agreement as a “win-win situation”, the partners explain that, while AXESS will provide satellite communications services and acquire new business in Qatar and in the region, Es’hailSat will contribute with local services needed for the extension of AXESS’ operations.
Es’hailSat will also benefit from AXESS infrastructure and services to expand its own reach beyond the region and in particular the maritime sector.
The multi-year agreement came into effect in December 2022.
