Digital transformation has accelerated the needs of African companies for digital solutions. The Algerian telecom operator Djezzy wants to take advantage of this strong demand as part of its development.
The mobile phone operator Djezzy (Optimum Telecom Algeria) has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with the ICT solutions integrator General Distribution Security Systems (GDSS). This collaboration will allow Djezzy to offer more choices to its enterprise customers, including access to turnkey, cloud-based business solutions and secure hosting plans.
The first solutions will be marketed in the coming weeks and will offer an unprecedented professional communication service to enhance productivity and collaborative work within teams ," Djezzy said in a press release.
According to Brahim Zakaria Souig, sales director at Djezzy, this partnership is part of the operator's development strategy based in particular on the conclusion of partnerships with Algerian actors and companies. The company earlier this month signed a partnership agreement with incumbent operator Algérie Télécom to improve quality of service for subscribers through the sharing of value-added services.
The partnership with GDSS should improve the quality of services provided by Djezzy to Algerian companies in a context where the latter need more digital solutions due to the acceleration of digital transformation. It should also strengthen the operator's position in the business segment of the Algerian mobile telecommunications market, where it competes with Ooredoo (Wataniya Telecom Algeria) and Mobilis, the mobile branch of Algeria Telecom.
