The Elisa Elamus and Huub services operated by Estonia’s Elisa are now available as an app on newer Samsung and LG TVs.
Commenting on the development, Kertu Popp, Elisa’s head of entertainment, said: “Since the launch of the new Elisa Elamus on the market last year, customers’ interest in TV apps has been great. Previously, the Elisa Elamus solution was available in set-top boxes, smart devices and devices using the Android TV operating system, as well as Philips, Sony and Xiaomi TVs. Now the app is also available in the app stores of the most common TV manufacturers Samsung and LG. In this way, a larger number of customers can enjoy the TV service together with the domestic streaming solution Elisa Huub without owning a set-top box”.
The Elisa Elamus smart application is available on all Samsung TVs that support the Tizen 4.0 operating system and on LG TVs that run at least Web OS 4.0. In addition, the application also works on most Sony, Philips, Hisense, TCL and Xiaomi TVs that support Android TV version 9.0 or higher.
