Telecom Argentina (Personal) will commence the deactivation of its 3G network in the first quarter of 2023, CEO Roberto Nobile announced during a presentation at Huawei’s recent Global Mobile Broadband Forum in Bangkok.
The cellco notes that it has been refarming the 1900MHz band since 2020 and the 850MHz band since 1Q22. Going forward, the telco is optimistic of activating 3.5GHz C-band connectivity from 2023.
