British pure fibre broadband provider Truespeed has issued a progress update on its fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) rollout, revealing it has now reached a total of 50,000 premises across parts of southwest England.
According to the operator, the development represents ‘the latest achievement in [its] record year of growth’, while putting it on course to achieve its aim of passing a total of 500,000 properties by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, Truespeed also confirmed the level of uptake over its network, revealing that it now has more than 11,500 fixed broadband subscriptions on its books.
Commenting, Truespeed CEO James Lowther said: ‘Passing 50,000 properties is a huge testament to the team’s efforts as we continue to rapidly roll out our ultrafast network and connect more customers to some of the fastest broadband speeds anywhere in the world. We’re thrilled to have reached this milestone and are looking forward to continuing our vital work improving connectivity throughout the South West.’
