stc recycles more than 5,000 devices in cooperation with Ertiqa Association

stc Group provided more than 5,000 computers to empower non-profit organizations. The number of devices provided to the Charitable Society for Rehabilitation of Computers reached 5290 computers. The project's outputs benefited 68 entities and organizations in the non-profit sector in the Kingdom.

Through this pioneering project, stc Group seeks to actively contribute to the development and empowerment of organizations and individuals most in need in the non-profit sector, recognizing the importance of balancing development paths between social, economic and environmental sustainability, to be reflected in its sustainability strategy. The group is committed to enriching communities' lives and experiences by providing high-quality and efficient digital communications products and services.

The group periodically worked to inventory, inspect and technically treat redundant computers and accessories according to two tracks: recycling and disposal in an environmentally safe manner, in order to achieve optimal benefit for the benefit of beneficiaries in educational, health, charitable and social agencies.

The stc group aims to provide an opportunity for its customers to contribute to this charitable project, which achieves long-term sustainability, through their initiative to donate their devices and hand them over to stc customer care offices.

It is noteworthy that 5 batches have been launched since the start of the project in 2018, and the agreement was renewed during 2021 for an additional 3 years.
