Omantel continues to mark the Khareef (Monsoon) season in Dhofar yearly by engaging with local communities and visitors through entertaining and fun activities.
Visitors from Oman and abroad flock to the Governorate of Dhofar during the Khareef season to enjoy the beauty of the region as it acquires its green scenery and sees frequent rainfalls with moderate weather conditions.
Omantel’s campaign reflects on the cultural heritage of the Governorate of Dhofar, and it supports and carries out activities at various touristic spots in the region.
Commenting on the campaign, Saba Al Busaidi, Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs at Omantel, stated “The Khareef season is a unique time for us to enhance our engagement with both the communities in Dhofar and visitors from different governorates of Oman and other countries”.
“We have commenced all the necessary preparations well in advance to expand our network coverage in the region, especially for 5G, to provide a unique and seamless experience to our customers. In addition, we have taken all the necessary measures to ensure continuity in meeting the growing communication needs, as a result of the remarkable hike in the number of visitors to Dhofar during this period” she added.
