Algérie Télécom has launched two new products entitled "Zimail and Zoumi" which are on sale from at all the commercial agencies of this public company.
The official launch of these two products was given during a ceremony organized in Algiers by Algeria Telecom in partnership with the company Adex Technology.
According to the organizers, "Zimail" is a "collaborative professional messaging service, hosted in Algeria in the Adex Cloud data center, in partnership with the publisher Synacore, an American company that is the world leader in collaboration software".
"Zoumi", meanwhile, is an "Algerian videoconferencing and collaboration platform, developed in collaboration with ZOOM, a world-famous American publisher".
In a brief speech, the Chairman and CEO of Algérie Télécom, Adel Bentoumi, indicated that the two products are offered at "very accessible and attractive" prices so that all segments of society "can benefit from them".
He specified that in addition to "equitable access" to technology guaranteed for all citizens, companies and start-ups will also be able to "boost their productivity thanks to these two products".
He also indicated that the partnership with Adex Technology aims to "supply the Algerian market with value-added service offers through the Algeria Telecom sales network which extends throughout the national territory. , while participating in the development of content hosted locally in Algerian clouds".
Mr. Bentoumi also affirmed that Algérie Télécom "tends to support and motivate Algerian companies, especially SMEs, so that they can contribute to national economic development".
For his part, the general manager of Adex Technolgy, Djaoued Salim Allal, underlined that this technological and commercial public-private partnership aims to bring to market "value-added offers through the sales network of Algérie Télécom on the national territory, essentially productivity tools, such as messaging and videoconferencing, at prices accessible to all budgets".
This will allow "equitable access to technology and contribute to the opening up of regions and the development of locally hosted content", he explained.
