The majority of Mediaset channels are to be made available on the Tivùsat platform from July 17.
The existing line-up of Canale5, Retequattro, Italia1, 20 and Twenty Seven will be joined by Iris, La5, Cine34, Focus, Top Crime, Tgcom24, Mediaset Extra and Italia2.
It brings the number of high definition and ultra high definition channels on the free-to-air satellite platform to 77. The line-up also includes the entire Rai bouquet (14 channels, including one in 4K) and Discovery (ten channels).
Tivùsat says its offer contrasts with that of Italy’s terrestrial platform, which now numbers fewer than 30 channels.
