Netomnia names next three locations for network rollout

British wholesale fiber broadband provider Netomnia has announced details of the next three locations where it will deploy its infrastructure. In a series of press releases the company – which ultimately aims to reach one million premises with fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) technology in 2023 – confirmed that its network is now being rolled out in Oldham, Dalton-in-Furness and Doddington.

In terms of specifics, Netomnia notes that as part of an investment of up to GBP21 million (USD26 million) in Oldham, it will bring full fibre connectivity to around 71,000 premises, partnering with O’Connor Utilities on this rollout. Meanwhile, in Dalton-in-Furness the operator expects to invest around GBP4 million to reach around 13,000 premises, with MJ Quinn acting as the rollout partner. Finally, with investment of up to GBP2.3 million earmarked for Doddington, Netomnia will deploy FTTP to around 7,500 premises, it confirmed.
