Zimbabwe’s largest mobile operator by subscriptions, Econet Wireless, has expanded its 5G coverage to a second city, Bulawayo.
The network, which was launched to coincide with last week’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, covers limited parts of the city via six base stations.
The operator says it now has 18 base stations operational in Harare and Bulawayo, while more will be added in the coming weeks to extend 5G coverage to Victoria Falls, Gweru and Chitungwiza.
