Telefonica has predicted its acquisition of rival Oi Movel’s assets will create BRL5.4 billion (US$1.09 billion) in value for the group.
The company said in a presentation the figure was conjured from efficiencies in costs and investments and already accounts for incorporation costs, reported Reuters.
The operator group also added it predicts EBITDA and operating cash flow margin to sit above 70%.
The company said in a presentation it expects the full transfer of Oi Movel clients to its numbers to continue until the end of Q1 2023.
Telefonica with fellow rivals America Movil and TIM Brasil, jointly bid for Oi’s mobile assets for BRL16.5 billion and wrapped up the deal this month (April) after many roadblocks.
