Telefonica has switched on 5G services on the 700 MHz band in a total of 35 more localities of various sizes in the Spanish regions of Cordoba, Almeria and Asturias.
Around 6 months after activating its first 5G node in the band in the town of Alcazar de San Juan in Castilla La Mancha, last February Telefonica now received the approval of Spain's Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation to switch on nodes on its commercial 5G network throughout the country.
