WarnerMedia launches CNN+

WarnerMedia’s news network CNN has launched its long-awaited subscription streaming service in the US.

CNN+ launches across streaming devices including Amazon Fire TV, Android phones and tablets and Apple devices, along with smartphones and tablets. The company said that additional device support will be available in the coming months.

Housed within the CNN app, CNN+ features live, on-demand and interactive programming. This includes access to the live TV feeds of CNN, CNN International and HLN.

More than 10 live daily shows will debut on the streamer at launch, along with of weekly programming, new CNN+ Original Series, and a library of more than 1,000 hours of award-winning programming from the CNN Original Series and CNN Films teams.

CNN+ is available for US$5.99 per month or US$59.99 per year, while early subscribers will have access to 50% off the monthly plan for life. New users can sign up for a 7-day free trial.
