German regional fibre-optic provider M-net has concluded a fibre-to-the-curb (FTTC) wholesale cooperation agreement with Telekom Deutschland for Bavaria and the Main-Kinzig-Kreis district in Hesse.
The partnership will enable Telekom to market its own internet and telephone connections over M-net’s FTTC networks in those areas from the second quarter of 2022. Around 230,000 households in Bavaria and Main-Kinzig-Kreis will benefit from the agreement via layer 2 bitstream access (L2-BSA).
