VMware has opened a regional office in Qatar with over 20 members of staff led by Imad Sfeir as Gulf country director. The office will also serve Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Yemen. It is located in Qatar Financial Centre, The Gate, and will provide sales and pre-sales service, customer support, technical support, and delivery.
VMware aims to support Qatar's Vision 2030 transformation efforts and service to customers in every vertical. Having a local presence in the country will help VMware to serve customers in every sector but especially government, financial services and healthcare. It will enable VMware to provide the full benefits of its latest services, such as the VMware Tanzu portfolio, Vmware Cloud Foundation 4 and the new VMware Cloud Foundation Services.
