IPTV boosts Magyar Telekom

Magyar Telekom’s TV revenues in Q4 2021 in its home market Hungary amounted to HUF13,089 million (€36.6 million), or 8% more than in the same period a year earlier.

Meanwhile, its TV customer total increased by 6.3% in 2021 to 1,315,839, with blended TV ARPU growing by 1.9% year-on-year to HUF3,360 in Q4 2021.

In its latest set of results, Magyar Telekom says the increase in TV revenue was once again driven by the expanding IPTV customer base, as well as the successful more-for- more pricing which led to an uplift in ARPU.
