Claro connects the Chubut town of El Hoyo with LTE

As part of its strategy of permanent expansion throughout the country, Claro became the first telecommunications company to connect the Chubut town of El Hoyo with 4G / LTE service.

The installation and commissioning process, which focused on updating the cellular equipment to provide 2G, 3G and 4G connectivity in El Hoyo and included the satellite link to provide the service, allows bringing the latest technology to the population of this region Patagonian.

With the presentation of this milestone in Patagonia, the company continues to improve its network throughout the Argentine territory, as it recently did in Paso del Sapo, where for the first time its inhabitants were able to access mobile phone services provided by the company. This municipality that is located to the west of the province of Chubut and the closest towns are 200km away.
