Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), upgraded fixed broadband speeds for an additional 268,000 households in July.
The firm says that a total of 34.3 million homes can now access maximum data rates of up to 100Mbps and the number of 250Mbps-enabled lines has reached 26.1 million nationwide. In addition, TD states that the total number of households connected to its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network rose by 85,000 in July 2021, to over 2.5 million, enabling maximum speeds of up to 1Gbps.
