Azercell, Azerbaijan’s largest mobile network operator (MNO) by subscribers, has significantly expanded coverage of its LTE network in the Baku Metro since the beginning of the year.
The cellco’s 4G service is now available on 19 station platforms and in the tunnels of eleven stations, enabling subscribers to access mobile internet content and apps during their journey. The operator plans to continue expanding LTE coverage to the remaining stations and tunnels of the underground system.
