Telenor Montenegro has signed a MoU with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (ETF) of Montenegro to establish a 5G test environment, eKapija reports.
The partnership aims to strengthen and improve the IT sector in Montenegro, enhance the joint development of 5G technology, and provide scholarships for promising ETF students, as well as other joint activities. Telenor Montenegro CEO Branko Mitrovic said he was looking forward to working with the ETF to test 5G networks. ‘5G is the technology of the future and we want to be ready for the moment when it will be in commercial use. I am very proud to say that Telenor, in cooperation with the ETF, will create a 5G test environment in Montenegro and thus, with learning and development, we will try to come up with applicable solutions that can contribute to the development of the economy and business sector,’ he stated.
