Ayala-led Globe Telecom says customers in the provinces of Pampanga, Batangas, Laguna and parts of Cavite will receive improved mobile services from March 2021, thanks to its 4G LTE upgrade programme.
In a statement, the company’s senior vice president for Program Delivery, Network Technical, Joel Agustin, confirmed: ‘Our current target to fast-track our 4G LTE and 5G network builds are meant to give our customers more opportunities to make the most of the new standard in mobile data,’ adding that Globe’s aim is to go beyond 3G and make 4G the new de facto standard.
