Japanese-backed telecoms operator DOCOMO Pacific has revealed that it has strengthened its LTE coverage in a number of locations across the Northern Mariana Islands.
New antennas have been installed at Capitol Hill, Dandan, Garapan, Kagman, Koblerville, Marpi, Papago and San Vicente (all Saipan), while ongoing improvements are taking place on Tinian and Rota. In addition, the telco has established cell site protection ring, cell site fibre transport rings, and strengthened the durability of its network towers to reduce the damage and service interruption caused by typhoons.
