Tawasul Telecom, a subsidiary of Kalaam Telecom, the leading telecommunications service provider in the Middle East and the Gulf region is pleased to announce the launch of its new Point of Presence (PoP) in Beirut, Lebanon as part of its Global Network expansion strategy. With the addition of Lebanon Core Backbone PoP, Kalaam & its subsidiary, Tawasul Telecom have established their 17th Global and 13th PoP in the MENA region.
This decision was a natural development of the emerging company network as Lebanon has been a strategic location for various businesses in the region. Lebanon is considered the banking hub of the Middle East, which is one of the main growth sectors of the country.
The need for a redundant, all-in-one connectivity solution has further held the decision of Tawasul’s presence in Lebanon and will enable businesses to easily navigate in the current digital economy. The PoP will also allow for more robust solutions with a clear techno-commercial edge to its customers by giving Tawasul the flexibility to offer more tailored solutions.
“Lebanon PoP will not only serve new customers who are looking for high capacity and quality L2, L3 services but also many of our existing customers who are considering to expand in Lebanon. This will also allow businesses to take advantage of the extension of KNOT cable system with a highly available network and low latency” said Veer Passi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Kalaam | Tawasul Telecom.
