Polish cellco Plus (registered as Polkomtel) says there were 5.2 million people covered by its 5G networks at the end of November.
Its 5G infrastructure, which uses the 2.6GHz band, was launched in May in parts of seven cities. The operator says it has since deployed new transmitters in these cities plus several dozen new markets. It is planning to have coverage of eleven million Poles in 150 cities and towns by the end of next year.
